Rally for Life Coming Up on January 22!

On Sunday, January 22nd, Sonoma County Pro Life will hold its annual RALLY FOR LIFE at Old Courthouse Square, in Santa Rosa. The event is scheduled to run from 2:00 PM until 3:30 and will be suitable for all ages.

This year we are honored to have as our keynote speaker Bishop Robert Vasa, the recently installed Catholic Bishop of the Santa Rosa Diocese. An ardent pro-life advocate, Bishop Vasa is sure to inspire and challenge us all.

As always, our fearless leader, Lawrence Lehr, will give us an update on pro-life developments across the sate and the nation.

Allison Aranda, Staff Attorney for the Life Legal Defense Foundation, will fill us in on recent legal and legislative progress.

This year's youth speaker will be Kathryn Lindlow, a member of the Santa Rosa Speech Club called Touche. Prepare yourself: Our youth speakers are dynamic!

The Zieminski family will provide us with a special treat, inspirational CLASSICAL music.

Also, we will have our customary prayer time, in which all will be encouraged to participate.

New and classic literature will be available, and no doubt a petition or two for you to sign.

As you can see, this will be a special opportunity to learn, grow, and appear before God and our whole community, in order to bear witness to the sanctity of life.

Please calender this and join us!

Pregnancy Counseling Center Banquet Coming Soon!

All North Bay Pro-Lifers are cordially invited to the annual Pregnancy Counseling Center fundraising banquet.

This year's theme is "Lord, Give Me Your Eyes." Plan on enjoying some amazing testimonies of local folks who have indeed experienced a great change of heart concerning the sanctity of human life.

For example, the Lee family will relate how their faith was challenged - and strengthened - when their teenage daughter told them she was pregnant.

Also, Mimi Majarus.who worked in local abortion clinics in California for eight years.will explain how God opened her eyes to see the truth of what she was doing.and His grace to her, in spite of it all.

The banquet will be held on Saturday, November 5, at the Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park. The evening will last from 6-9 pm.

The suggested minimum donation is $150.00 per person.

For further information please call Rachel Wentworth at 707-575-9000.

Or, if you'd like to drop by the PCC in person, go to 750 Mendocino Ave., Suite 1, Santa Rosa, 95401.

PRO-LIFE BLESSINGS AT SONOMA-MARIN FAIR

A great big "Thank You" to all who participated in this year's Sonoma-Marin Fair!

This was one of our best fairs ever. Lots of everything: volunteers, outstanding literature, visitors to the booth, good conversations, donations (about $400 worth!), and heartfelt expressions of gratitude for our labors.

And not only that, someone donated a really nice television set to SCPL!

A reminder for next year: Let's use those pro-life stickers to the max. Lawrence and Mary Lehr report that when they offered kids the bear stickers, the kids would respond eagerly, thus drawing their parents and more visitors to the table. Sounds like a winning plan!

Email addresses needed!

In these days of dynamic political change, contactibility is the name of the game!

In the weeks ahead, SCPL will be hosting a major gathering here in Santa Rosa. Also, just prior to the election we are planning to distribute a pro-life scorecard on all the candidates, and will need to ask many of you for your help. But to accomplish these and other important goals, we must be able to stay in touch with our friends and supporters.

So would you please send us your email address ASAP? You have our word that we will not give it out, but use it only to contact you in the event of upcoming pro-life activities.

You may send your email addresses to: director@sonomaprofile.org.

However, if you wish to subscribe directly you can send an email to majordomo@sonomaprolife.org and place these words in the body of the email: subscribe news
